Chance Is The Mother Of Flesh

If chance is the mother of all flesh, Misery is her epitaph and disaster her rainbow in the sky. Only God through Jesus reconciles and brings meaning to life. Otherwise, we become the metaphor of Nietzsche, “straying through an infinite nothingness’. At least Nietzsche understood the ramification of what he was asserting when he cried out, “God is dead, and we have killed him”. I see a weariness brewing, an apathy towards the Absolute and a weariness toward the God of the Bible revealed in Jesus Christ.

Feel free to make a choice. But in doing so, you will have to possess “dialectical” courage. In a meaningless world, courage is also meaningless. But to go through a pointless world, Nietzsche says we need courage. But since courage is meaningless, he says we should have “dialectical courage”. But, we in Christ Jesus have real courage because our anchor rests in the Strength of God, who is the Almighty and the Creator of Heaven and Earth. So, even in the storms or pains of this life, we know that courage in Jesus Christ in meaningful, and the strife will not be long. While this day is the noise of battle, the next is the victors’ song. So, we in Christ can say, “Courage brother, do not stumble, though thy path be dark as night”.

In Christ alone, my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song. This Cornerstone, this solid Ground. Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace. When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My Comforter, my All in All. Here in the love of Christ, I stand.
